COVID-19 has shut down visitation but LION is still alive!
This summer the LION’s den has been meeting virtually via zoom on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Unable to continue with workshops on the inside, we’ve been looking ahead to funding opportunities for the coming years, investigating potential new educational technologies for students incarcerated and supporting the state legislation needed to make it happen. We recently sent in an Evergreen Letter of support to the current legislature and hope to see action on a bill soon.
